GS 111 is a polymer modified and fibre-reinforced cementitious wall putty in powder form, which on mixing with requisite water forms a paste that can be applied in thin coats with a putty knife. It is a factory blended easy-to-use, polymer modified, high strength, non-shrink, cementitious crack filling mortar.
GS 111 has got better adhesion and flexural properties. Due to its better water retention properties, the mixed paste has got increased life and workability. GS 111 finished surface is also resistant to shrinkage and cracking even when applied in thin coats.
GS 111 paste is applied as a thin plaster or skim coat on walls & ceilings to provide a level and very smooth surface for subsequent painting or wall papering. It can be used on both interiors & exteriors over plastered surfaces, concrete and blockwork. It should not be applied over painted surfaces. It resists water absorption, but permits breathing of water vapour, which is important for concrete surfaces. |
